It’s back! The Sonoma County Hot Air Balloon Classic is back! Returning to Windsor (unofficial motto: “Healdsburg charm, Santa Rosa price”) and marking its 20th year, this is a crowd pleaser.
The dawn patrol features balloons launching into the morning sun of wine country; tethered balloon rides for those who want that hot air balloon feeling, without all that drifting away into oblivion fear.
Tickets are a mere $5 in advance or $8 at the gate, making this one of the most affordable festivals in wine country. And, like most everything in Windsor, it is family-friendly.
