Luthur Burbank Rose Parade

115th Luther Burbank Rose Parade & Festival ‘Through the Decades’ celebrating these past 12 decades since the event started with the Rose Carnival in 1894. Parade steps off at 10am at Sonoma Ave & E Street, proceeds to 4th Street and ends at 4th Street and Mendocino Ave. Festival is in Courthouse Square from 11am – 4pm includes kids activities, live music, the High School Culinary Program Iron Chef Competition, awards ceremony (2pm) and more.  www.roseparadefestival.com

Freestone Fermentation Festival

A fund raising event for the Occidental Area Health Center  -  A Celebration of All Things Fermented
Join us for educational presentations and interactive demonstrations on the magic of fermentation.  It will be a fun-filled day with Hands-on Exhibits, local music, and food.

    I’m excited, will be arriving Friday night and was wondering if there were any happs this weekend to check out. Will definitely be out enjoying these events in the sunny hotness! (btw, is it seriously going to be in the 90’s this weekend? yowza!)
