We made it.
Inside Sonoma, after toiling in obscurity for weeks (years – one and a bit) finally got noticed and hit it big time.
We’ve been invited to a grand opening, in The City no less, of a new tasting room at the Boudin Bakery on Fisherman’s Wharf.
Suspend your disbelief. We’ve been doing it for a year and bit (see above.)
Below is the actual invitation from an actual PR firm, actually addressed to Inside Sonoma. No title. No honorific. Just simply “Inside Sonoma.”
It appears that Buena Vista Carneros is opening a new tasting room at the Boudin Bistro Bakery and Center for Advanced Sourdough Science right there in Fisherman’s Wharf. To which we say- awesome. If we can’t get San Francisco to come to wine country, we’ll bring wine country to San Francisco. Sonoma and San Francisco, together again.
As for the event? Sorry PR flaks, we can’t make it. Inside Sonoma, as our name implies, must never leave the gilded boundaries of our promised county.
Can you open a Boudin Bakery in the Buena Vista Carneros tasting room?
