I’m sorry I won’t be coming to visit for the holidays this year. It’s too bad that I have to miss all of the long lines and delays in the airport. And I’m sorry to have to miss wrapping myself up like a mummy to stay warm.
I will surely miss seeing you, that is for sure. I’l be thinking about you as I’m watching the misty fog settle around the redwoods in the evening, and during our morning walk through the vineyard.
And I’m sure that Doug will be thinking of you when he plays his usual round of golf the day after Christmas, and I’ll be missing you too when I immerse myself at the spa.
