Fall is here, the holidays are very nearly upon us and that means it’s time for the zany, art-centric fun of SOFA Winterblast.
The holiday extravaganza to beat all extravaganzas, Winterblast is a jubilant street party for all ages.
The SOFA neighborhood (a.k.a. South A Street Arts District), in downtown Santa Rosa along South A Street, will host live music, local food vendors, a Kids-Zone, street performers, and more. The SOFA art galleries and studios will be open for you to warm up and peruse the talent of this vibrant community.
The highlight of the evening will be the unique SOFA Parade featuring, yes you know it, sofas. Don a holiday inspired get-up and join in yourself.
Neighborhood and friends-of-the-arts sponsors include the City of Santa Rosa, Riley Street Art Supply, new restaurant The Spinster Sisters, breakfast favorite Dierk’s Parkside Café, Jeremiah’s Photo Corner, Callahan ARTco, classic spot The Cook House, and Bicycle Czar.
This free event is on Saturday, Nov. 17, from 5-8 p.m. along South A Street to its corner with Sebastopol Avenue in Santa Rosa.
