In October, golf fans have flocked to Sonoma County for the Charles Schwab Cup Championship. This premier golf event, hosted at the private Sonoma Golf Club (surprisingly they let me in for a minute and it is just as lovely as the name would imply), gives spectators and golfers a great mix of challenging holes and beautiful views. Since the event is being held in one of the best wine country’s in the world, Sonoma County, the wine festival offers an exceptional variety of wines and food samplings.
