Win 2 three-day passes to Resorts in Bloom garden tour for charity, June 11, 12 and 13, 2010.

Resorts in BloomEnjoy three days exploring the spectacular gardens of western Sonoma County’s quaint inn’s, Bed & Breakfasts and vacation rentals.  You’ll get behind-the-scene tours and each property will offer something different – such as cooking demonstrations, live music and art.

Answer the following questions correctly and you will be entered into a drawing.  You don’t have to leave your computer to find the answers – although you can if you want.  There is one bonus question thrown in, just for fun.  Post your answers in the Comment Section below.  Comments won’t be approved until we pick a winner so don’t be surprised if you don’t see your entry.  The winner will be announced Monday, June 7.

Plein Air is a French phrase meaning “out doors or in nature” – it has also come to mean a certain style of painting – a true plein air painting is generally painted in one session on location. The challenge is to capture the effects of light on the landscape quickly before it changes too much. This requires quick decision making in the composition of the painting and the mixing of color.
