This Thanksgiving I am leaving the turkey baster where it belongs…in a drawer.
Every Thanksgiving I slave over a hot stove sympathizing with the millions of women throughout the US that have done the same. Invariably I make too much food and dirty my entire collection of plates, pots and pans spending almost as much time picking up after cooking than actually cooking.
I am going to let someone else do the cooking (and clean-up). I haven’t decided where my family will be taking me on this well deserved day of feasting, but I have my choice cut out for me as these incredible Sonoma County restaurants are offering Thanksgiving meals:
Farmhouse – Forestville
Josef’s – Santa Rosa (Railroad Square)
Langley’s on the Green – Windsor
Nectar – Santa Rosa
The Brasserie – Santa Rosa
Tolay – Petaluma
Sante’ at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa – Sonoma
French Garden – Sebastopol
John Ash & Co. – Santa Rosa
Latitude – Rohnert Park
Madrona Manor – Healdsburg
Mosaic – Forestville
So return your box of Stouffers and come to Sonoma County and enjoy a feast with no messy clean-up. After dinner you only have to do one thing..and that is take a nap from all the tryptophan and Sonoma County wines you have consumed.
