There is a great pumpkin patch in Petaluma called Spring Hill Farm (the other 11 months of the year it’s a dairy and their cheese pops up in local farmers markets.) In October, you get to dig your own potatoes, pick pumpkins, and, of course, milk a cow. Last year we left with more pumpkins than we meant to, and lots of potatoes we dug ourselves. Fun times!
