If you have some last minute shopping to do you can actually make it a pleasant experience. Take a drive out to Duncans Mills or to Occidental.
Not only will you get to take in the scenic views of vineyards and the redwoods, but you will also avoid the throngs of people rushing around. Your friends or that special person in your life will appreciate it too, because you’ll find a cool gift in one of the hottest unique shops in Sonoma County.

- Pig Alley (Duncans Mills): I love their jewelry
- Renga Arts Center (Occidental): hip art and jewelry from recycled material
If you do go, be sure and grab a bite to eat or a cup of great coffee at one of the restaurants in town.
