You can taste dessert wines free at Sonoma Valley Portworks. They’ll pour 4 different ports, a dessert sherry and a fortified muscat–all at no charge. On Saturdays, they serve cheese and chocolate and other artisan dessert items that go with the ports and other wines–and it’s still free. It’s a small, family-run winery, and they make dessert fun.
