Hike in the Hills

Foothill Regional Park in Windsor, just south of Healdsburg, is a good place to wander among oak trees, small lakes, and grassy valleys. Take the trail to the top of the hill for a jaw-dropping view of the Santa Rosa plain and the Russian River Valley. Horses and bicycles are also welcome.
(The other side of the hills is the exclusive Mayacama Country Club. Foothill Park’s entry fee of $5 is $249,995 cheaper, and you’re walking on the same hill!)
