The best place to get a grilled cheese sandwich is the Girl and the Fig Restaurant in Sonoma. It comes with tomato confit & matchstick frites. Nothing to me says comfort food as a grilled cheese sandwich and it evokes memories of School days and Saturday lunch treats out at a restaurant. This is not the simple sandwich your mom made you. “Its a real feel good”.
