Restaurant Eloise offers French food with flair. But more importantly they offer food at a great value. Every Wednesday night Eloise offers a prix fixe menu of three courses for $35.
The menu on a recent Wednesday evening started with a Chicory salad, hard-boiled egg vinaigrette and candied bacon. Yes, sweet yet salty crispy bacon bits spread around the salad. Second course was Pappardelle pasta with the Easter Bunny. O.k. maybe not the Easter Bunny, but a cute, cuddly and delicious rabbit breast nonetheless. The meal was rounded out by the best crepe I have ever had. The crepe was topped with a brown butter and lemon sauce and a generous spoonful of powdered sugar which is a must on any great dessert. At least according to moi.
Eloise also offers free corkage on Wednesday night if one person in your party orders the special menu. If you need your wine decanted with dinner they will bring you a house decanter.
If you are not up for dinner, they also offer a prix fixe three-course lunch menu Tuesday through Saturday for $26 that includes a glass of wine. For those of you out with the boss, wine can be substituted for a soda or a pop depending on what region you are from.

I’m returning to Sonoma County next month. Where is Eloise located? Thanks for the tip. Sounds mouthwatering to a steak and potatoes Midwesterner.
