Airplanes, Helicopters and Breakfast Oh My!

Always on the lookout for something fun to do with my toddler in the middle of the morning, I figured out the best airport activity timing at Sonoma County Airport and took him up there for breakfast. The Sky Lounge Steakhouse & Raw Bar serves up yummy, traditional breakfast goods and has great outdoor seating so you can watch the action.

We watched the LAX flight come in and all of the passengers get off and new ones get on before it took off for Seattle. In the meantime, a helicopter took off right in front of us – definitely exciting when you’re 2 and even a little bit when you’re, well, older. They have high chairs, plenty of room to run around outside, and friendly staff. Not to mention, scrumptious french toast and generous fruit cups. What more can you ask for?
