See Sonoma at SFMOMA, then See Sonoma for Real

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is currently showing the hip and oenitastic show, “How Wine Became Modern: Design + Wine,” through April 17, 2011. The show features  labels, art and other artistic flourishes from wineries around the world.

Not content to let the cultured moderns just take in wine at a museum, Sonoma County is inviting everyone who visits the exhibit to come see wine country up close and personal. And this is a great time to do it – in winter and spring when the vines are sleeping and the juice is magically turning to wine, the winemakers, chefs, artisans and farmers of Sonoma County have more time to share their passion with you.

Here’s how to redeem these special offers:

  1. Go see How Wine Become Modern: Design + Wine at the SFMOMA. You can visit our friends at San Francisco Travel for more ideas on what else to do in The City. Tell ‘em Inside Sonoma sent ya.
  2. Keep your ticket stub from the Museum! Don’t let it out of your sight – it’s worth valuable deals! (SECRET NOTE TO MEMBERS: You can use your SFMOMA membership card, too. Like the guy from the Streets of San Francisco used to say in the commercials, “don’t leave home without them.”)
  3. Get to Sonoma County – we’re only 30 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. You can do it in a day, though you may want to spend the night. Sonoma deals here …
  4. Check out these Sonoma wineries offers for specials.
  5. Tell your friends all about it.

Save your ticket stub to SFMOMA's "How Wine Became Design" and get free Sonoma County stuff.
