Inside Sonoma

This is the way the world ends.
Not with a bang, but a massive CGI-generated, Himalayan-eating wave.

In three years, as anyone who is anyone knows, the Mayan calendar stops, meaning the world will basically end, leaving only the guy from Say Anything, the girl from The Whole Nine Yards, and quite possibly the best looking first-daughter ever (B-E-L-O-V-E-D) floating in some massive arks on the Indian sub-Continent with 39,997 other less photogenic people.

What does this have to do with Sonoma?

Well, if the Mayan calendar is correct, and the sun starts shooting out massive solar flares, and these flares bombard the earth with more neutrinos than normal, and the core of the earth starts to, in the parlance of the movie, become “microwaved” then not only are we all doomed, but this may be the last year you have a chance to buy futures for wine at barrel tasting in March.

Think about it. The world might end on December 21, 2012.

Plan on saving some money and buying some wine futures in 2010.

You’ll get that wine in 2011, maybe 2012, but earlier in the year. Drink up, I say.

You never know when a massive tidal wave will come crashing threw your window and basically devour Pasadena.
